Founded by experienced engineers in 1988, EC Computers Ltd has grown into a total support company. We now provide service and sales to a broad range of clients in both the public and private sectors. Contracts - We offer flexible on-site support contracts tailored to your needs. All labour, replacement parts and travel expenses are covered and when combined with guaranteed response times, unlimited call-outs and known costs, contracts provide peace of mind for the serious computer user. A range of ad-hoc field and workshop repair services are also available.These have expected turnaround times to match the  severity of any problem. A low-cost "Collect, Repair & Return" service compliments our workshop repair services.

Network Support - We provide the total network support solution. Including design, supply and installation with full after sales support. As Novell and Microsoft authorised resellers we provide the solution that's right for you, including company wide email and Internet access.

Microsoft® Windows® Small Business Server 2003 is a complete network solution for businesses with up to 50 PCs. Based on the secure and reliable Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003, it offers email, fax and secure, shared Internet access in one affordable package. The latest version of Small Business Server offers improvements in areas like installation, deployment and management. In answer to user requests, it also comes with improved backup and restore tools and security enhancements.

Installations -
Users now expect more from their equipment, quickly become reliant on global email, faxing and the Internet. As IT infrastructures become ever more complex, design and professional installation has become crucial. But existing installations need support too. Use an IT support visit when you have unresolved network and email problems or when users demand extra features or greater speed.

Support Agreements - The ultimate support service for mission critical equipment. With guaranteed response times, known costs and loan options, peace of mind soon becomes part of the service. Individual quotations ensure agreements are tailored to provide the exact level of support required.


Hardware - When selecting new equipment you need impartial advice. As an private, independent company we give you that. We supply equipment from all leading manufacturers including maxdata, HP, Compaq, Toshiba, Belinea,Epson, Microsoft and Novell. In addition to these we also market our own EC computer systems. These range from simple workstations through to powerful RAID servers. Our bespoke build service is on-hand to tailor and configure systems to your exact requirements prior to delivery and installation.

EC Broadband - ADSL offers speeds from 512Kbps (10x faster than a standard modem) to 2MBps over existing analogue telephone lines. But as a typical analogue line has a maximum speed of only 64kbps (too slow to carry video or CD quality music) ADSL converts the line to digital at your local BT exchange. Therefore, to enjoy the benefits of ADSL, you will need a BT telephone line and if possible be less than 3.5Km from an ADSL enabled exchange. To find out if your BT telephone line is suitable contact us and we'll check for you.

Consultancy - We design, install and support Microsoft NT and Novell networks with Email and Internet options. Additionally, we supply all manner of peripherals including monitors, printers, scanners, cameras, multimedia and other general upgrades. We also supply original branded spares, media and consumables at competitive prices often with next or even same day delivery.

Workshop Repairs - Low-cost combined with an expected turnaround  time of 2 to 3 days makes this the ideal repair service for non-critical equipment. Repairs are processed on a first-in, first-out basis with an optional low-cost local "Collect, Repair & Return" service available to minimize inconvenience. For remote users we arrange courier collection of faulty equipment. This service is ideally suited to larger companies (wherever they are based) who operate multiple VDUs and printers.

Onsite Repairs  - Engineers come to you. Use this repair service when removing the
equipment to our workshop would be either inconvenient or impractical. Ideal for server failures and general network faults this service is also suitable for the repair and routine maintenance of large heavily used printers. An eight working hour response can be expected but priority is always given to clients with support agreements or IT Credits.

Once you agree to save money, confirm your wishes and we initiate this service. BT remain responsible for maintaining your lines and the quality of service at all times.
